Three configurations in one Webber

Breakthrough new technology! In 2007, Rando developed the new SBD style Webber with the breakthrough ability to change from a D configuration (suitable for running light delicate fibers and webs) to a B configuration (suitable for coarse heavy denier fibers)in less than 30 minutes.
 

• SB configuration forms the web with a round steel condenser drum.
• SD configuration forms a web with a polyester condenser screen apron.
• SBD configuration, which includes both the B and D condenser assemblies, can be switched from a drum to a screen style condenser in the field in less than 30 minutes.
• Easier and less expensive to maintain.
• Simplified setup and adjustment.
   

The new SBD Webber features the same proven web formation our customers have relied on for more than 50 years, along with unprecedented flexibility to adapt to various fibers.
 

• Versatile air laid system.
• Processes wide range of fiber types.
• Features isotropic fiber orientation.
• Capable of high lofts.
• Accepts 40 to 110 - inch (1 to 2.75 meter) widths and special widths available.
• Uses split air system (separate vacuum and pressure fans) for better air control, dust control and cooler operation.
• Comes with AC variable speed motors.
• Features optional PLC based control system with operator touch screen (HMI) interface.
• Switches from B style Webber Condenser to D style Webber Condenser in less than 30 minutes. Each style condenser has distinct advantages for processing different fibers, deniers and web properties.
• Includes IEC category 3 safety.
