Rando Re-clothing and Roll Manufacturing Services for Randos, Cards, Garnets, etc.

It is with great sadness that we have learned that our friend, supplier and sometimes competitor, John D. Hollingsworth on Wheels, Inc. has decided to cease operations on December 31, 2009. The loss of 190 more manufacturing jobs for our country further weakens our manufacturing base.

Rando Machine Corporation stands ready to meet your carding roll manufacturing and re-clothing needs with the same superior quality that Hollingsworth did for so many years.   You’ve trusted us to provide and service your world class non-woven preparation and formation equipment for 60 years. Now let us care for your critical internal components, carding rolls and garnett rolls by providing you with the highest quality reclothing and roll manufacturing service in the world.

Our capabilities currently include the ability to manufacture and re-cloth and balance 24” diameter cylinders up to 124” long.     Please feel free to contact us at sales@randomachie.com or by phone at 315-986-2761 regarding your needs for a competitive quote today.

Future: There's Never Been a Better Time for Rando

Rando is poised to grow by leaps and bounds into the next decade.
Nonwoven consumption continues to grow around the world for two reasons:

  • Proliferation of the wipes market.
  • Increased awareness of recycling and “going green,” which has increased demand for nonwoven products.

Rando’s competitive advantage
Our unique air flow technology and customized internal machine components produce an unmatched isotropic fiber orientation with most fibers. This gives us the ability to produce both “high loft” nonwoven webs with our signature “shingling effect” along with very thin webs. Our competitors can produce one or the other, but usually not both. As a result, we are one of the few who can produce a high loft web with the fibers vertically layered to maintain its integrity.

Plus, Rando machines are exceptionally effective at recycling scrap material from the manufacturing process. Our users reintroduce the “trim” back into the manufacturing process to save virgin fiber, less the cost of their product, and reduce the cost of disposing scrap.

“We are very proud that our Rando machines are designed to help protect our environment by reducing waste and increasing the use of recycled material,” stated Michael Flaherty, President, Rando Machine Corporation. “We will continue to focus on providing products and services that enable us to be good stewards of our environment,” he said.
